Why we could not stay at Rose Cottage!

Why it was no longer possible for us to stay at Rose Cottage!
There were a great many issues within the property that Sue in particular did not feel comfortable or safe with and they were:-
The en-suite, step and basin.
Shower over bath, no handrails.

1a) Both showers were very difficult for us to access, the en-suite was difficult to use due to 2 steep steps and also had a loose basin you could not hold onto, 1b)the one over the bath was impossible due to lack of aids (grab handles/handrails)
Step from lounge to kitchen.
2) The step down from the lounge to the kitchen was onto a polished tile floor that was slippery and quite steep.
3) Accessing the garden was nigh on impossible because of the gravel and uneven surfaces which became slippery when wet.
4) The off road parking was a joke as it took so long to manoeuvre the car to a position where it was possible to access the doors, so it was only really convenient to park on the road at the front. Also see 3.
Sofa with packing.
5) The sofa in the lounge had collapsed springs and it was almost impossible to rise easily from without packing it with cushions to raise you up.
6) The spare room was hazardous to get into the bed one side due to a mantle that blocked one side of the bed. (We did not use this room so was not an issue for us) but felt it needed noting.
7) There were notes here there and everywhere with house rules on them which were mainly common sense but made it feel like you were children not to be trusted!
So that is 9 reasons in all and here are a few photos to back them up.
