A DAY I FEEL WE WILL ALL REMEMBER FOR A LONG TIME TO COME!
It started well with me (Glyn) hosting the 0645 prayer meeting as normal and a quiet morning with lovely weather.
Stella and Stacey decided to go into Dumfries for a round or two of crazy golf.
Sue and I decided we would go to The Nith Hotel for lunch, only just down the road. We arrived at the car park and got out of the car, I went up the steps to look at the menu on the notice board, turned around just in time to see Sue on her way to the deck. She badly cut her head and it turned out also fractured her elbow. The Nith staff were very helpful and sympathetic calling an ambulance which arrived in 20 minutes, brilliant time with road works on the way.
To cut a long story short an afternoon was spent at A&E and I will add pictures as and when I can.
The hospital cannot be faulted for there promptness and efficiency in getting us out of there by
